All I need to do to compile my map right is change the texture limit from 4mb to 5mb. Ive heard about the -texdata cmd line, now where do I put it? I use worldcraft to run Zoner's compile tools and run the game.

-Thanks

-texdata is a shared switch. It has to be applied to the command line of all the tools.

In hammer the only way to do this is to use the Advanced compiler option and add it there to CSG, BSP, VIS & RAD

Ok I've done that, but now, using the expert option in 'run map' it comes up with an error 'The system cannot find the specified file'. What it looks like is happening is using the expert mode makes the file names shorter when making it, but then when it looks for it it uses the full filename...

The command failed. Windows reported the error:
"The system cannot find the file specified."

Also, how do I do Normal csg and bsp but turn off VIS and RAD to make a quick compile? I need to know the advanced prams or cmds for them.
Thanks for responce so far

This could take some time to sort out. Using Hammer to compile with effectively is hard to do, that's why people use Nem's batch compiler.

Little radio box: Use Long File names ... Tick it.

This might be wrong as the PC this setup is on don't compile to well and I've set it up to run the Steam.exe directly and use the -applaunch 30 option in Hammer to run DoD but it should look something like the image attached as far as -texdata and stuff
