models strangely lit up by muzzleflash

I've got a problem with the mapmodel 'bulb'. As you can see in the picture I attached, the lamps get lit up by my muzzleflash all the way down the hallway, which looks kind of silly.
Is this because the model is embedded in the brushwork?
thanks.

it's common on every map, I don't think you can fix it mapping wise ;)

Thanks, I'll have to get over it.
I'll post some pimpage pics of this map soon. It's allmost ready to be tested.

It's the same deal with the walls, the muzzle flash is pretty darn bright and if it hits the origins of those models they're going to light up pretty good.

I had the same problem with that particular model.
If you use the submodel without the shade, it don't look as silly when the muzzle flash lights it up.

But I like the shade :(
anyway, I'll try some other models and see what happens.
thanks for your replies.

The problem has strangely disappeared. Probably with the release of 1.2:confused:. Great!:D
