OK I have just started mapping for DoD, and Steam seems to have taken every sprite I had in my Half Life folder and moved them.. I used to map for CS, and have a fountain I made for it that fits in DoD perfect but it uses a smokepuff.spr and I found it on-line but it wont work when I try to load the map, I get a error.. mod_numforname. Any advice, how do I fix this? Besides remove the sprite.

make sure that you copy that sprite from your cs folder and put it into your dod folder. Also make sure u have another set of settings in hammer, so that it can read files within the dod folder, not the cs folder.

Yes I have a sprite folder in my DoD folder and I moved the sprite there. And the Sprite works fine in hammer.. I dont have a problem until steam starts to load my test map with the sprite in it. I get that error mentioned above.

im at a loss.

That error has nothing to do with a sprite

MOD_numforname: not found

MOD MOD ---- Mod stands for MODEL.

I researched this error and found that people were missing models from there directories.

I believe you are missing a model file :)
