Whenever I try to export my level as a .map file, i get a windows error. This just came out of nowhere. I was exporting .map files perfectly fine before and then just this windows error keeps popping up. I tried different maps aswell and rebooted and that didnt help. Anyone have anything to say?

Yes, I have something to say: What is the error message, as 'windows error' is a very very vague description.

Does Hammer crash? Windows? Does your file export or not??

Valve Hammer Editor has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

blah blah blah, tell Microsoft.

Send Error Report / Don't Send

No idea where this came from. Hammer is crashing out of the blue.

AHHH HAAAA!!!

See, when you tell us these things, we can help you.

Ill bet you, about 90 percent here, that you have too many wads in your list of textures in VHE. Take a few out, try it then. If that is the case, BINGO.

If not, come back and tell us, and we'll see about the next probable solution. Lemme know

well theres only one reason i can think of, if you still havent fixed it:

Check your directories. If your not pointed to the right directory your map models wont show up, or your map models are not where they are supposed to be.

If you have the new fgd and the new VHE then you DO have model support, so something is screwy on your settings or file directory.
