Yeah I'm completely new to everything regarding mapping, modeling you name I don't know what it is.:( I saw the sticky on files needed to map, but I don't know what they do.

So could someone who has alot of patience walk me through this whole mapping thing please. I know it's alot to ask but I'm very willing to learn seeing as how DoD is my life.:rolleyes:

Reading through FAQ as I type, will still need help, so i'll ask as I go along

something you might like to know before you jump right in and get something nice going and crash it accidentally without saving a lot of progress;

don't zoom in incredibly close even if you want to, because for some reason if you try to move around after zooming in very very very close it crashes hammer.

i would recommend the martymouse (i think thats it, deffinitely somehitng about a mouse) link in the tutorials thread stickied up top. it got me started and mapping in about a day.
