Hey guys,
I was just wondering how I set up Hammer when the only copy of DOD on this computer I have is via Steam. Obviously, all I've got is one big arse GCF file... and I don't think I'm pointing ALL of the directores (mod directory, executable directory, etc.) all to that one giant GCF.
I hate the Steam system. :(

Now, I know its kind of messy in here, but if you hit the search button and select the mapping forum as target and search for hammer and steam you will find a topic discussing it, I know I found one atleast.
Good luck!

D'oh. I figured if such a topic existed, it'd be a Sticky.. hence I didn't search.
Thanks. :) *searches*

Bleh. It's as I feared.
Currently, it can't really be done.
Stupid GCF files...

Just download the Won 1.0 version and install it to any random folder (you dont even need to have the Won version of HL installed), and use those files for your resources.
