so...yeah. there's no grenade entity is there? like extra grenade ammo that you can walk over and pick up? cuz if there is, i can't find it. and if there isn't, well then there should be.

there is, use AB's fdg.

its weapon_handgranade or weapon_stickgranade

the problem is that when u have thrown it, it will respawn back in the place u put it, so u could have infinate granades, tho 1 person can carry about 5 nades at a time.

so put it in a place that takes time to get to, or is hard to get to.

I stand corrected, i judt played Festung, and u can only pick up 1 nade at a time, how do ya do it Tolchok?

As Nomad said you need to have an fgd thatsupports it or tpye it in yourself.

Nomad, your PM box is full.

Regarding the grenades in Festung, the grenade box has one weapon_stickgrenade, and the rest are cycler_sprites (w_stick.mdl). If you pick up a grenade and wait for 20 seconds, you will get another when it respawns.

As a side note, I discovered that the weapon_panzerschreck will not respawn until the collecting player drops it, if you name the entity. It is a shame the other weapon entities do not behave like this, as I would have used this feature in Festung.

EDIT. huh?? how can you have a model as a cycler_sprite??

I don't know offhand what field is the respawn delay - I just left it as standard.
A cycler sprite can be used to place a model in a map - you have to place an env_model in the map, then copy the path in the 'model name' field and paste it into the 'sprite' field of the cycler sprite. I only used this for the grenade box because when I placed env_models in the box, the lighting on them was wrong, and using a cycler sprite fixed it.
