[REQ]Conker Models, mostly this Rifle. Big Pic.
Ok, with my overwhelming glee that a new Conker's game is coming out, Conker: Live and Uncut (for X-BoX), I checked Rare's (http://www.rareware.com) site, they have a small but sweet 29 Movie of the game, and some WallPaper. In one of the WallPaper Pics, one of the Squirrels is holding a cool Sniper Rifle.

I was wondering if anyone could so kindly as to model this rifle for me? And if it's no trouble, but it 100% is, model ever weapon/Player Model and Squirrels and Tediz? Just this Rifle would be Enough. Thanks to those who read. ^_^ Long Live Conker.

Stupid Microsoft and Rare...no PD for GameCube or any other system for that matter...
That rifle kind of reminds me of an anti-tank gun, I can only imagine in glee what kind of sound it'd make. :)
Yeah, I'm also depressed about Rare's moving over to MicroSoft, but that doesn't mean classics wont have sequels and they'll suck. Yeah, I don't know of the sound this would make, so I'd use the defaults, but first it has to be made, anyone up for it?
Screw the rifle, I want the katana :D

Holy crap. Nintendo -started- Rare. Dang.
-off topic- nintendo sucks, they stole resident evil from us PS lovers. I WANT RESIDENT EVIL BACK NOW!!
-on topic- i cant model, cant help you there
Yup, Nintendo did pretty much start Rare. But Nintendo doesn't suck, they didn't take anything from the RE lovers but 0 and 4 and 0 wasn't to great. Besides all you need is RE:Nemesis, it's the best one. ^_^ Also, sure, let's Model the Katana too, but first the Rifle!

Whopper? Are you serious? You're getting the bloody on-line Resident Evil. Exclussively.
Resident Evil Online, I think it's called "Deadaim" doesn't look to great.

"Deadaim" is a shooter, like Doom. I forget the name of the next "real" RE game. This one's like the RE remake and Zero, but with four-player coop. Die and you can play a zombie, or something. I don't remember the details. Heard about it from a show talking about E3. X-Play on TechTV.
"Deadaim" is a shooter like Survivor series? Ouch.
So anyone up to modelling this bitter sweet rifle? *Whimpers*

Pssht, WRONG. If anything, Acclaim pretty much got RARE started on games, I remember back in the late 80's early 90's playing old RARE/Acclaim games like Wizards & Warriors and Battletoads on the NES.
the online one is Resident Evil: Outbreak. But still, why make them exclusive, why not make them span all consoles and make everyone happy? i want my RE Remake and RE4. Now. Although, i do now have a job.... i could probably buy a gamecube... hm.... GAH I DOPNT KNOW WHA TO DO ANYMORElEJIFEJKFLsdjfKEjflksdjflked
edit: yeah, in resident evil online, if your virus meter goes all the way up, you become a zombie, and can control the zombie for a few minutes before you get game over. god. they should make one mega system taht can play ps2, xbox, and gamecube games all in one. i think i'll get my ps2 repaired.

Ok some responces-
Model:HoooBoy, looks like a CS gun! hehe. Maybe someone will give it a shot.
RE: Am I the only one who detests that franchise?
Rare: Yes they cooperated with Acclaim...on NINTENDO systems. Oi vey. As if there were no nintendo devs helping Rare publish their games.
Games: Screw all of those games though. We're my Deus Ex 2????
Conker's was fun. Great Single Player, great Multi-Player, Rare makes games with all that I need. All Rare games have TONS of replay value I can't blame Rare for going to MicroSoft, it's money, can you blame the DoD Team for letting DoD go Retail?
Back on Topic, let's not bash Rare and work towards this model please? ^_^

I agree, Rare never ceases to make great titles. Donkey Kong Country was one of the most memorable platformers I've ever played, and wasn't Goldeneye made by Rare? That's arguably the best console FPS ever (with Halo close to it).
Yup, and the engine from GoldenEye was saved to make another great Console FPS (One of the VERY few out there) PerfectDark.
yeah conker multi ruled, me and my friends would always play war. hi.
Why not map the ever so Simple War Maps for DoD, along with modeling this rifle.

I laugh whenever I hear that... If you ever read the EULA when you installed the game it states that any content created with, and for the Half-Life engine is sole property of Valve... When you click the "Accept" button you are agreeing with that statement, and stating that you will comply.. Valve could have just taken DoD from the devs if they wanted to, but that's not the way to do good business... So to say that the Devs "let" dod go retail is not correct... Valve "let" the devs sign on to continue working on it...
