I have this muzzleflash-sprite I found, but it wont work with DoD 1.0 :(
Can someone who's good at muzzleflashes, take a look???

My theory is that the sprite wont work because it's an animation of a muzzleflash (which almost ironically looks like an explosion, ok for Kar users I guess :p ) When comparing the two sprites in sprite viewer the default was a continous series of single frame muzzleflashes.
So, in theory, you have to edit the animation to be like the default, a series of however many bmps (you will know if you extract/export, dont remember, the bmp sequence) there are, each one being unique and not a continous animation.
of course that's in theory, in theory communism works, in theory.

Someone should compile the kar and enfield so that the muzzleflash is a blinding light affecting the whole screen and the bullet impact is a miniature mushroom cloud. That should accurately reflect the damage those things do.

Oh well, then it doesn't matter. :p
I took it from The Wastes mod wich have very nice muzzleflashes and very nice animations!!! ;) You have to dl it just because of the animations... And the "empty-weapon-click" is nicely done too.
Check it out.. The dod-team have to learn how to animate ;)
