finally ive finished skinning Triggers garand after a few hours of frustration and also i reskined Ajjers 3.1 k43 with Marksmans sleeves...please reply and tell me what you all think

Nice I'm choosing between that and Russ' skin but I'm definitely using the K43 perhaps you could add some dirt and wear the wood out a little bit? lol I feel the same when I release stuff :)

VERY good. Only one thing I can say: try to use the trasparent skin feature for the garand sight!

I don't really like them too much I'm afraid.

The Garand skin strikes me as being a lot like the default skin (which wasn't great to begin with, the model was though)....I like the detail of the model/skin on the knob though

The K43 v_ model....well, the metal is outstanding, but that wood is just bad imo....I've never seen wood that bright before, and the grain of it is all straight, no curves or knots or anything like that...bright and bland....sorry....

Oh well. Better than I can do (which is squat)

Better but how about lowering the contrast of the wood a bit? Rob, I know you're a moderator and all but I think that there could've been a better way of saying what you said but whats done is done :)

I really like the garand but I would prefer it if you had skinned one with the butt smash animations. Can you do one like that? Pwease? Pwetty pwease?

You should use my updated garand model instead of that one. I fixed a few problems, and tweaked the uv maps. You can get it somewhere around here.

OK will do, The Garand btw had my experimental skin, i made the wood for that in photoshop so ill probably release it with totally different wood, and yeh as for the K43 i have to apply the skin 2 the p and w models, wont take long but i should re release it soon:D

I liked the K43 better. The Garand kinda struck me as cartoonish-looking.
