From that thread ^
copy this into your autoexec.cfg file:
traceroffset 100
tracerlength 0.35
tracerred 1.2
tracerblue 1.0
tracergreen 1.0
traceralpha 0.45
tracerspeed 7100
It will make MG tracers look much cooler, especially over long distances, like in dod_charlie. One of the nice things about these settings is that tracers no longer overlap, since they are so much shorter.
makes traces white with a hint of yellow
- makes tracers much shorter
- makes tracers move faster
So what happens is, if someone is shooting at you across the beach on charlie, instead of one or two huge, thick, slow-moving, yellow lines, you get a bunch of very fast-moving, short, narrow, yellowish white lines
If you want to keep the same color, just leave the lines
tracerred
tracerblue
tracergreen
the same the original.
Hope this helps bro
