yes another one :D

i just got into weapon skinning, and im lovin it. so i figured id take a shot at triggers garand.

im skinning over 'ingodshands' skin, scince the textures are cropped just right.

tell me whatcha think.

Release that as a "beta."

Also, while you're working on the garand, do you think you could remodel it a little so the bayonet isn't so large and that it doesn't look bent ingame?

You should put that knife on it instead of the one I made. That was just a rush job so people would be more happy and les annoying. Unfortunately, the annoying part quickly came back, so stop it for a little longer by putting that bayonet on my garand.

Nice texture, by the way.

Dammit! beat me to it. i was working on the exact same thing with the same knife lol

I jus used dillingers skin, glims reload and triggers model with flibs knife.

Your's will probally be better though :( hehe I did a p_model though which looks good. You can have it if you want incase you don't fancy making a new one?

i actually dident put Fiblahs knife on there, just the skin. i dont see the need in adding more polys when you can barely see the knife anyway in-game.

and yeah if you made P models, and you dont mind hading em over, ill be glad to take em ;) credits will of course be given.

The reason you can't see the knife is because it is too thin and looks like it curves rightward

My ancesters came from Pommern in Germany in the 1860's :)

Thats my dads side my moms side is German and Scottish I think so Im mostly German and Scottish with a little bit of Norwegian I think :p

BTW Your lucky you dont live in American you have no idea how hard it is to trace you ancestry.. Think if my name was like Johnson lol you know how many johnsons there are in America probably :D

OK... *huff*.... i have converted my textures to the new garand model... ive been workin my ASS off.. its almost done as you can see in the picture below... just a few more things to do. i had to remake all the wood.. :o and ill be releasing two versions, one with butt shmack, and one with stab.

and no, no trasparency tricks. they ruin the texture in game. take a look at the body of the default sten. unless you want this garand looking like that... O_o
