How do,
This hackjob was made hammie who still has yet been able to register to the forms and so has asked me to post this for him.
"This is a Num.7 Enfield Jungle carbine. It was design by the Aussie for their fighters in the Burmese jungles Of S.E.A."

I thought the Jungle Carbine was the Lee Enfield No. 5? I might be wrong though.
Hey all,
I like this but correct my n00bishness here but why does it have the magazine at the bottom like the Carbine that the US use and have the bullets be entered at the top?

That is because it could be loaded using the magazine, but also with 5 round stripper clips. The clips I beleive were more common than using the mags.

No.6 Australian Carbine

Both could be used but in the military only 1 mag was issed. Stripper clips gave less bulk and weight to carry, plus less to manufacture.

Thanks, Ska, he sent me the file a little while ago, I was able to add to the DoD EC, but I have been so busy, I forgot to release...
Anyway, this is the coolest Enfield to date...

After using in game I would have to say I LOVE IT! Great model, pass along my Kudos to Hammie.
You will also have to excuse me if I refer to it as Hammie's No.6 from now on though, as it is clearly not the .22 cal SMLE No.7 ;)

I'm not a huge expert on Enfields so i can't really comment. Hammie told me to pass on this diagram.
It labels the model Hammie made as a No.7 and shows the differences between the No.5 and the No.7 Jungle Carbines.
We've just set him up with a dodsupply e-mail addy so he should be able to give all your complements to him in person lol

I can't stand that blue bayo so I greyed it out and added a new handle taken from a enfield bayo pic.
Just swap it in HLMV.

Very interesting pic Ska. That is the only reference I have seen to the No.7 as the Jungle carbine. In a book I have, as well as basically every enfield site on the net they list the 7 as a No.4 but .22 cal. ....... very confusing.
But really, it does not matter much and we should not let it detract from a great, great model.
