Hi I'm looking for a New Terrain Editor.

I have "Terraingenerator220" but I was hoping there was something better out there.
Any help is good help!!

best for HL right now is Nem's Mega 3D Terrain Generator but i think thats what you have.

I tend to agree with Angry Beaver.
Try Gensurf but don't expect what you are dreaming in 2 clics.
You'll have to manually rework the stuff.

2.2.0 is so so. 2.3.0 has some good stuff.

I can't wait for the next Terrain gen with all those cool texturing features. Auto-texturing of terrain, rules!!!!

Nems 3d generator is the best iv ever tryed but you will get the best results by simply using vertex edit and copy/paste

Untill there is a good terrain generator that allows you to use proper units and LOD i will stick with vertex edit

well personally for tough terrain I go for a big combo of terrain gen and editing each piece myself, because when you terrain gen it doesn't snap to any grid...which means that it can make VIS take a really really long time. So even times when I do use a terrain gen I end up doing the entire thing again myself with the terrain as a rough guideline.
