I fixed the sleeve problem and I'm currently adjusting the arms to not be pointing out so far side ways and be more "properly" adjusted. I'm warning you all now that the animation isn't very good but it gets the job done. The metal will be blurred because of transparency, something I cant fix.

I'll post some more screens in a couple hours or so. Mowing the lawn right now :rolleyes:

Well I've tried everything, all power invested in me, to change the model to use a diff. skin for the rear sight. I've deleted, re-assigned, everything. the only way I can see it being fixed if Trigger (I'll pm him later if he doesnt read this) was to have a copy of the model before he grouped the bolt together, then while it's all diff. parts (breech,back metal, barrel etc) assign a diff. texture to the RS (small circle pin-hole).

So you guys will get your garand, I've worked w/ the animation some more, as perfect as I can get it at the time being, kinda fast but it's decent. (hey, first time) I'll get a host in a couple hours after I do some last minute touch-ups. don't excpect a whole lot tho, the metal skin is very basic as currently im calling it "preview edition" as it's not finalized or perfected. Just releasing it early to let you all enjoy some bayonet poking fun.

I know what you mean Genie when it comes to trying to split a model back into diffrent groups in milkshape, pain in the arse springs to mind, thats one of many reasons i use lightwave, 2 min job for me in that program. If you get stuck and need it regrouping then email it me and ill regroup it for you.

So Marzy, waht you're saying is I delete the current pin-hole sight, (kinda a poly waste IMHO), replace w/ my new one, use a custom texture for it and you can regroup everything w/ out any problems? if so then I'll gladly send you the file :D
