can someone please tell me what this means all these brushes are getting very confusing...
Warning: === LEAK in hull 0 ===
Entity light @ (-667,-1026, 108)
Error:
A LEAK is a hole in the map, where the inside of it is exposed to the
(unwanted) outside region. The entity listed in the error is just a helpful
indication of where the beginning of the leak pointfile starts, so the
beginning of the line can be quickly found and traced to until reaching the
outside. Unless this entity is accidentally on the outside of the map, it
probably should not be deleted. Some complex rotating objects entities need
their origins outside the map. To deal with these, just enclose the origin
brush with a solid world brush
what is that?
also everytime i compile it is jumping to all of my lights fix this light then the next then back to the same light what is happening???????????
Cheers

Just use your mouse pointer in the top view of hammer.Move the pointer over the grid until you see the coordinates @ (-667,-1026 in the bottom of the hammer window. That should be right below your bottom right view. Then you can find the general area of your leak.

that won't really help, because that coordinate is of the entity...and sometimes that entity is nowhere near where the actual leak is...I would suggest a different method.
just run the map. then in the console type pointfile and follow the dotted line untill it goes out of the sky box. :D

or if you use Hammer 3.5 you can load the pointfile right in the editor (granted you've generated a pointfile file already) I find it to be pretty useful, but sometimes it wasn't helpful (neither was any other method as well) so I had to use trial and error to fix my problem.
