This is a great looking model! I have a few questions though....

Just a little confused as to which one this was. It is refered to several time here as the 3.1 version. I thought that was made by Rusty, and I still have it here. The 3.1 version was also a Carbine replacement so would require new animations. Readme says Model and Anims by DoD team. Well, certainly not from 3.1! This skin is definitely 1.0 and I would have to say looks all around to be a hack on the 1.0 model.

Not that it really matters, looks sweet as hell, but which one is it?!?! lol

The model was imported from 3.1 and the new animations were assigned, I think he also pit the default Enfeild Skin on it as well...

Its the default dod one but with the jungle carbines barrel put on it and then edited by hammie so it doesn't look really thin.

The butt smack animations is dod default i think.

coupla things..the transparency isn't working..i can still see the blue at the end of the barrel, at eiher side of the sight..and the butt-smack anims seems rather slow..is this to compensate for the fact it's meant to be a bayo it's using?

other than that..it looks great in-game.

The animations are my fault. I made them slow so that matched the timing of the stab. Unfortunately since the butt smack animation is so quick it looks really drawn out when played at the same speed as a bayo stab.

Nice skin but!!!! There is some blue thing in the front of the rifle :confused: I am not a modeler so i just wonder how can i make it disepear?

I think the blue is so it should be transparent in the game? Am i right? But its not, my sight is blue, i hope it will be fixed becouse the rifle is so nice!!

The only way to get rid of the blue and make it transparent is to decompile and edit the .qc file.

Alternativly if you're lazy, like me, open up the skin with HLMV and colour the blue bit in grey lol

Yep, i know...but....i can't remember exactly, but bolt didn't move after each shot i think...
I'm tired of carbine models i see... i don't like all i've seen lately :|
Maybe just rip part of anim, and leave only bolt cocking after reload of empty clip ?

Oh yeah, i remember. There was a version where only the 'firing pin' moved forward after each shot and he only cocked it when the clip was empty. That version was reloaded via the detachable mag wasn't it?

It would be easy to convert that one over but it would have 3.1 hands and no FOV thing so the barrel would look skinny.

BTW Hammie still not got a e-mail to register with?
