simple crosshair request

can someone please remove the line on the top of the default crosshair

huh whys that :confused:
just that way they crosshairs are set up
in the file there are 2 lines and a dot for the middle. the line on the right is used for the left and top of the xhair and the lind under that is used for the right and bottom

Couldn't you add the bottom line as part of the dot? When the dot exceeds 3x3 pixels it'll use the upper-left corner of wherever you set the dimensions to, but it wouldn't be a problem with a straight line because the dot IS on the top and technically to the leftmost position.
I dunno if that made any sense or not. Bleh.

You could simply edit the hud.txt file and make the 3x3 limitation bigger:D
Anyways, look to the link up above for the crosshair.(I didnt even realize this thread existed :p oh well:rolleyes: )

No, I tried this and if the area exceeds 3x3 pixels, it won't be centered anymore. It'll use the upper leftmost corner as the center of the dot, effectively making it impossible to make circles and things.

Then how do you explain what I did? Theya re accurate..... go where they should... and work....... And I used the method I listed....
