quick question
how do I make the trunks of my tree modles solid, so you cant run throung them
you need to clip the model. this can be done 2 ways
1- A clipping program
(makes horrible brushwork its good for a guide but not much else.)
2- Hammer 3.5 (recomended)
use the 3D model port to shape your brushes to the model.
3- (obsolete becasue of #2)make brushes
make brushes and compile to test it against the model, repeat untill done.
4- #2/3 but without the effort
DL the model zoo waldo made. use your eyes/the search button plz. thats all I'd do.
once done you will need to do some things to your brushes.
1- make them into an entity
2- coat them in "null" and apply the proper texture to the outside faces. the proper texture being the one that gives the right particle effects.
