MREL: Reanimated Thompson M1928

This is the Thompson M1928 "Commando" made by Cheeto and Bots, I reanimated it. This was my first try at animating, so be nice. Basically, I was sitting around this morning and said to myself, "God damn, no one animates really." Originally, I made it where he pulled out the clip, put a new one in, and cocked the bolt, while it looked great it went along extremely fast.

Enjoy, no pictures now because I don't feel like taking a dozen of them :)

I would like a reposition (like the def. model)

Good job

There's one small thing I changed on the model, I made the front of the forearm just a smidge thinner.

Not bad, a little too mechanical, but it's a good start.

Yeah, I was basically just trying to make sure nothing clipped anything.

yea for a first animation attempt its pretty good. seems like the clip is magnetically attracted to the gun though ;)

It's really good for your first time animating something. A few tips, though. During animations such as reload and draw, move around bone02 or 03 just a little bit throughout the anim so it doesn't seem so much like a robot. Even just the slightest movement of these bones throughout the animations will give it a much more realistic feel. Also, give some more recoil for that shoot anim as it doesn't move much right now.

It is real good, though, for your first animations. They are better than my first ones that's for sure.

Bump, my posts always get consumed in a sea of other things.

I tried replacing the sten with this, and he had no sleves, just hands up to his wrists.

Great job at animating.

Are you going to be doing any more modeling?

That's because it wasn't compiled for the Sten, I'm not sure if I'll make one for the Sten yet.

As for anymore modelling I'm going to do I'm not quite sure, I've been thinking about a few things but I basically haven't modelled anything in more than a year now.
