Question Regarding the 82nd Airborne models

Is there a way to make all the helmets the ones with the foliage on them? I believe only the rifleman, sniper and support infantry have them and I'd like to have that helmet for all the classes. I replaced the skin in HLMV and copied the helmet model, but it still shows the plain helmet in-game for some of them.

Just curious if I can do this.

Tat's because the leafs and what not are modeled on the helmet you'll have to switch them in milkshape...

if your talking aobut the models i made, and helmets i put together, in order to get ALL the helmets with the foliage/scrim on them, for airborne you have to:

1.decompile them

2.open up the helmet SMD that has the Scrim on it

3. export/save over the other helmet without it.

4. compile

what do you plan on doing with the 82nds? gonna put a photoskin on them?

This a bump from beyond the grave, I apologize haha, but thanks for the info guys.

As for what I was going to do with them - I wasn't going to do anything, was just curious if I could get the foliage on all the helmets, but since I'd have to do all that stuff it doesn't matter, and I like the diversity witht he helmets now anyway. Just took a week or so to grow on me. :D

Good job, Russ.

lol I actually wanted to do the opposite, put the plain on all the models... I gotta learn some basic decompile/compile skills so I can do this stuff myself.

I do like on your set how only the "Sgt" classes have the plain helmet Russ. I added an NCO stripe to it on my personal use set, looks sweet following them in game! :D
