[MREL] Olive Green Wermacht

I missed the olive green uniforms the Germans had back in the beta days so I decided to recolor the default uniforms to the olive green ones.

Changes made:
-All classes now have olive green uniforms, STG44, Sniper, and mger no long wear the camo tunic.
-All classes have helmets.
-Since somebody told me that the Wermacht were ordered to get rid of their helmet insignias in the later part of the war, I only put them on the Unteroffizier and Sniper since he said that some other soldiers either refused or were not able to get rid of their helmet insignias. This puts variety among the classes.
-Added dirt, scratches to skin and uniforms especially on the elbow and knees.

I want this pack to be as realistic as possible so please tell me if I am wrong about anything.

Dunno. Maybe both the Wermacht and SS were ordered to?:D

Both the SS and the rest of the wehrmacht were ordered to remove the insignia form their helmets. I've got a book somewhere that gives some details on that, but I can't find it. Otherwise I'd tell what date that order was given and the other details.

I believe the helmet-removal order went like this:

1941: Heer/Luftwaffe helmets must remove the national tricolour shield from helmets.

1943: all insignia to be removed from helmets.

Of course, elite units and vets tended to not remove the decals, since it was a sign of their eliteness and their time in service.

Very nice, i like them alot.
i have a quick question though, would you be able to release the default models but have the Grenadier's pants replaced with the Marching boots model?

Or at least give us some vauge direction on how to do that :P Thanks.

You mean the default models with the grenadier pants tucked in boots? I asked Flammenwerfer to do it for me. I used that kind of model in my Heer Camo. It can be found in the DoD editing center. Do you know how to use HLMV? If you don't PM me.

The light infantry (kar98) in beta 1.0 is olive green too.

Really? I never reached 1.0. I started playing in 1.2 and was too much of a noob to notice the skins but as far as I know they were gray because I remember a statement from a DoD team member saying that people wanted the uniforms more green so they did make it more greenish in 2.0.
