It would be great if the mappers could transfer any of your threads, images etc you would like to see continued onto the new site and to the appropriate subforums, thereby maintaining your forum post editing permissions.

how do you move the thread???

Make an account on the Steam forums
Make a new thread on your map in the DOD Custom Map section. You might as well just post the newest screenshots etc with the latest information.

Check your spam, the activation email should have come almost immediately after you created your account.

I approved accounts before I went to bed lastnight. I'm about to approve them again now ( about 8 hours between approvals). Normally, I approve accounts every two hours or less.
How about backing up all your posts to your own PC in case these forums shut down within the next few hours.
Then you could still copy an paste text and links to the new forums when you are finally activated

only place theres a thing on mapping is in the source section
therefor to those like me that still do 1.3 stuff that place is gonna be kind of useless
