[REQ]Finally fixing the axis playermodel

OK, it's really a shame that this modding community is almost dead. I remember the good old days (YEARS ago) when there were great releases every second day.

Anyway. Now after years with the DOD-teams pretty "weak" try giving the default axis-model a realistic look. The first weak fact about the model itself is the jacket or whatever it is supposed to be. The part around the neck (difficult to explain for me) is just completly wrong, like many good modellers pointed out quiet a few times.

Every try to modify this have been answered with "No it wouldn't work because of file inconsistency!" but seeing that it is possible to give the assault class it's good old cap, it should also be possible to modify the jacket to look just like a german uniform is supposed to look.

Is anybody out there willing to give this a try?

does your enjoyment of the game really hinge on the accuracy of the collar on the axis uniform?

I can just see it;
Cray-matt: Two axis at second flag, I'm going in!!!!
- Wait, they dont see me yet(pulls out knife)
-sneaks up on first target,raises knife to make killing blow
-notices axis collar and falls into a crumpled heap of fashion conscious despair as the axis soldier turns and noscopes you to death

be fair, realism is nice, just look at the subsim forums, tomi99 there is completely re-doing the VIIC sub model just for realism and to fix barely noticeable issues. so, im guessing that just fixing a collar is kinnda a small thing.
