Day of Defeat Source not showing in Current Games

You folks have a great Forum here, just sorry it took me so long to find it! LOL I am trying to get used to the Hammer Editor but more importantly I would like to map DOD Source but I have a problem. DOD Source does not show up in the Current Game Selection list when you go to click on the Hammer Editor. I have tried to reconfigure the Hammer configuration editor but when I go to do anything in any one of the grid windows it crashes. It works fine witht the default config for both Half Life Two, episode two or Portal as they are the only games list in current games to choose from. I am fairly sure that my editing was correct but maybe there was somthing else I missed. I know there are a lot of talented folks out there that are mapping for DOD Source, can one of you guys help me here?
Thanks in adavance

When they updated the SDK to be able to map for HL2:E2 games, you now have to add a command line into the SDK to allow you to load older games.
Right click on the SDK and go to "Properties." Go to "Set Launch Options," and type this in: -engine ep1. Now, open the SDk like you normally would, and your problem should be solved.

I had done what you said about two days ago with this "engine ep1".
When it should have been this "-engine ep1". LOL made a huge difference. Thank you so much for your help Sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

You're welcome. The hyphen makes all the difference, doesn't it?
