This has been sitting on my hard disk far too long and I don't have any more time/energy to mess with it so I'm releasing it "as is". There are three models included - a 1:1 scale "flying" C-47, a 1:1 scale belly-landed model and a 1:16 skybox version.
The crashed model isn't badly damaged, just a few serious oil leaks from both engines, a badly dented underside to the nose and leading edges and a bent wingtip. The port props have been bent back on striking the ground and the starboard prop has been torn off with enough violence to shake the engine loose and displace the cowling around it.
I searched for a lot of pictures of belly landed C-47's and this seems fairly representative of the damage. They were pretty strong birds and the damage from a belly landing seems to be fairly superficial. Then either nosed and and were burnt out or plopped down with a few dinks here and there.
As far as the pictures go, you'll have to use your imagination. The plane leans to the starboard slightly with the bottom of the engine cowl dug in. The port side is resting on the wheel. Mappers will obviously be able to put some smoke or fire eminating from the model, blend in some nice scrape textures on the ground where it's slid to a stop, etc.
The flying version has the rear door as a sub-model so you can choose to have the door open or closed. The door is open by default.
The crashed version has a physics box which allows some access to the rear door but not the fuselage. Because of the way the players bounding box works in source, you'll only be able to get in if you orientate the model at 90 degrees.
Anyway, there you go. Have fun.
