Source 2007 materials and VTF plugin

I can't open the latest Source materials through my plugin for paint shop pro to edit them: when I try to load them it returns a "plugin encountered unknown error", but it will open all other Source materials predating the Orange Box. This is naturally causing a problem as far as modding it goes: I can't get my high resolution weapons to work properly for Episode Two and I can't properly convert the episodic Vortigaunt textures over for Half-Life 2. Has anyone else run into these problems, and is there an updated plugin or other fix that I can use to properly edit the Orange Box vtfs?

The Photoshop plugin has been updated already. VTFEdit hasn't though (AFAIK)

Nem and I updated VTFLib (the "core" VTF code all our VTF apps use) with partial support for 7.3 format early on when Valve wanted to use some of our tools in house. Right now, we're a little bit in limbo because there library has only support for what files they gave us at the time to test with and Valve have made changes since then.

We know that there is a 7.4 version of VTF files which the VTF tools don't support (yet) and there maybe some 7.3 we can't handle because the specification changed between us adding support and them releasing TF2/Portal.

That said, Nem and I are waiting for Valve to send us the *final* specification formats for 7.3/7.4 so we can add full support. Hopefully we'll get that soon-ish and we'll post updates to our stuff as soon as we can.

I got it fixed, the updated plugin did the trick.

How do I change between Source standard and Source 2007 SDK's? I can't get to the model viewer for DoDS or HL2 & EP1 anymore.

By the way, anyone interested in using the HL2 Episodes Vortigaunt in HL2? There's a bit more to it than simply moving the files across.

You need to make a shortcut to the SDK launcher with "-engine ep1" in it to use the older non Source 2007 stuff.

Also make sure you refresh your SDK content and re-set your configs. Theres been a few patches since it first came out and you need to be sure their up-to-date.
