I just finished my first day of defeat source map. I would love it if you guys would take a look and maybe give some feedback!
in the screens it seems to be a map of the MOAH airborne, the one on Sicilia xD
i will test it ;) looking good
WoW screens look pretty darn good man we will give it a run on our server today and give you some feed back asap.

excellent map man, its like anzio-salerno, with lots of posible routes for players, added to soviets servers #1 & #2 we will see how it works for 32 players.

Looks great only fps could be a little bit better .
You should have added a _b1 to the end of the name so you could update it till you get it tweaked to its best for the final release .
I think the clouds are moving way to fast you need to slow them down 1/2 the speed .
You have a few trees going into the brick road you need to fix and a few tight places you can get stuck in but nothing big .
The lighting and layout are great work man this map will be a hit on many servers as soon as you fix the few issues and boost fps some !!!!!
It was on the low side 25-35 for me 6 on 6 which is not good should be double that at least . did you put area_portals , hints in this map and set all the model distances? all this will help performance if you did not do it .
But over all I have to say this is the best first map I have ever seen anyone make you have some mapping talent dont let it go to waste keep making maps for dod source we need them !!!!
It was great to fragg with you in our server while play testing it today come back anytime .

is any one else suffering from loud ambience?
Couple of maps recently released have really loud ambience and people cant hear footsteps or some points weapon fire.
Hope, i have been constructive with the ambience. :confused:

B@D hit it right on the mark with his idea though, you really do need to slow down the clouds. I'm looking forward to seeing a revised version soon, but until then feel free to jump on our server and play it with us (click my sig for server IPs).

Great map but the fps was kind of low through out the map and the ambient sounds were great but too loud. A lot of people notice that when we took it for a spin.

Really cool looking map, but as it's been said the clouds move way too fast.
This could be a really great map, the setting is awesome.

In addition to what has been said already, I would recommend either slowing down the flash in the skybox, or adding several others that are set to be triggered randomly. As it is now, the artillery fire doesn't seem random enough.
Also, with the soundscape, I noticed that it didn't loop seamlessly. I don't know if that was a skip on my end, but it was noticeable.
Other than that, its a great start. I really enjoy the clouds in the skybox. I'm looking to try that in one of my maps, as soon as I figure out how. :D
