HI Guys , here is the updated release of dod_flasher:

all known issues have been fixed, as well as spawn protection added, and minimap.

The field is really better now. Only one annoying thing : the capture zone on the plane is very small.

The cap area at the plane seems a bit small to me as well; not only the area on the ground, but vertically also: you can leave the cap by crouching.

Ranson has a newer, better version of the plane available here (http://www.dayofdefeat.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=69428). There's even a crashed version.

Ah, by the way, the plane seems a bit "dropped" into the scene. A mostly intact/barely damaged plane would leave some marks on the ground where it slided before coming to rest. Now if only Pedro could make some ripped and torned cornfields... :D

Added the map to both of our servers. Also to our download section. No registration needed!

Huge improvement on the corn field. Thanks for changing that. The spawn protection needs to be a bit more. I was able to take out people left and right while they were spawning because of the direct site to the spawn area for both sides. Maybe elevated sand bags or boards would eliminate that issue and the map would be perfect if it wasn't for that.

Also I noticed that the plane had an issue with capping and shooting at people around it. If you had to cap it you had to get right on it or next to it. The area could be a bit more. The other issue was that if you were shooting at someone crouched next to it and you were right next to them on the other side of the enemy it was not registering any hits. Both ways in the cockpit area. I was shooting at someone and they were shooting back and we both were not taking any damage. Weird?

Hands down the best version of flash ever made!!!

thx for the replys, hopefully the new damaged plane in b3 will address alot of the issues with the b2 plane. spawn protection i will look into but wont promise.

Hey Woody. As I was saying yesterday, there's an issue with maybe a couple Allied spawn points. Some players will spawn stuck together, sometimes stuck alone. If stuck together, by going prone, one might get away, but the other will partly get under the map, without being able to move.

Here are some pics to hopefully help you identify the problematic points.
