Hi all,
thought i'd share some of the latest updates for my improved german player model.
Textures are not complete yet & but the model is finished.
This is the sharfshutze, his rank is going to be unteroffizer
As you can see in the screenshots, the uv map is fairly different from the default & ive unmirrored the collar tabs so that others may choose to reskin him realisticly. Ive not bothered unmirroring the arm markings because there isnt enough space on the vtf & id like to keep it about the same size.
obviously ive redone the collar, but ive also changed the shoulder pads by symmetrizing one of them so that they both use the same part of the uv. Ive also modelled the tunic buttons because texturing them looks crap.
I dont know much about weighing etc or if i need to do so, so any advice is welcome.
