Before all the files disappear for the older versions I want to make a downloads section for the older stuff. Can be all the older betas, and the current steam version.

I am asking some of the old pro's to list the best of the best of custom files, can be anything so long as it's the best in your opinion.

This includes Maps, models, sprites, whole packs, sounds.

I want to compile a few packs together to make a single download... even if it gets to the point of not being played online much in the future, a easy to install custom pack of maps, another with bots, custom sprites, models, may come in handy for nostalgic reasons.

I find that a game, even with bots every now and again, is very enjoyable, if I can make a pack or two of easy to install selections of dod custom goodness for those that missed out on the great work that was done... it may surprise a few.


* I have all the StrumBot versions, and all other Bot programs and can include a one step install for steam versions.

* I have a gig or so of custom files but want your advice of the best of the best in each category... in saying that if you have something that is no longer on download sites let me know.

* I intend to assemble whole packs and individual downloads but prefer to make whole packs based on what a person thinks is a good combination, that way I can have Pack one... two ...three.

* I need a address of a few good map packs... and the best waypoints too if you know.


I know there are complete packs out there already (include those too) what I can also do is "Best of British" or Best of US/Axis.

Don't leave it up to me... I am very biased toward Jed MaRzY and Dillinger and think any old map will do :)

Mercatorn's DOD Enh (Ehn) soundpack. I'll try looking but this was before beta 3.0. I'm not sure if anyone has it anymore.

Feel three to add all my stuff - I have no plans on taking it down but I'd prefer if you just link to the download pages on my site rather than mirror.
