I haven't had any feedback for RC1 in a while, so I decided to fix the last few problems with the map and release the final version of Cherbourg. There are no major changes, just a few minor texture/architectural changes, bug fixes, clipping, as well as an added colour correction file.

(Optional colour correction file (http://www.scorchingcraniums.com/downloads/cherbourg_correction.zip))

Looks awesomely better than the only other version I played (b1 I believe?). Hope to play it on some servers sometime soon. Great job.

The light changes from bright to dark every few seconds. That's the color correction, right? I don't think I've seen lighting like this in a DoD:S map before. The map itself looks fantastic.

The colour correction should only show up if you have the .raw file downloaded and both dx9 and colour correction enabled. I had no problems with the lighting, but I've had to run through it in dx8 since I've got an 8-series card and the fog bug it has with all source games.

As for the fog issue, I don't know about Nvidia, but ATi's newest drivers are suppose to fix it:

They've been released:

The above screenshots really don't do the map justice, this is with color correction:

Very sweet looking map. Will be adding it to the rotation on our DoDS:RPG server. :)

Here is the animated map pic I made for game server browsers. Just *right click* and save it. This was made from the screenshots provided by The Surgeon. Enjoy!

Just got to play this on our server.
Plays very well, very smooth and very pretty, didnt see axis spawn, but the allied one is so much easier to get out of now.
Thank you for including a minimap too.
