EDIT: after playin around for a while with it i have come to the conclusion that the stretching on the the strap makes this impossbile

Yeah, I was gonna say that earlier. If you horizontally up the res on the texture, it MIGHT be possible, but I doubt it'd look that good.

Would leather be possible?:

hmmmmm i think the oringal modle thta Kiff did came with a leath strap but it didn't look that great i'll see wat i can dig up

we'll i tried loads of different leather textures, some my own and some from other poeple and pictures of leath, and i gotta say it really is the same story with the strecthing on the unwrapping which just destroys any texture used and just makes it a big brown blur.

If some one could unwrap it so that is was a tile texture instead of a warped bendy texture then all of this could be done but untill then.
