Blood like in INS

Anyone who has played INS knows what I'm talking about.

Is there any way to get a similar effect in DoD:S when you shoot someone?

(The blood isn't a puff in INS, it's more like a spurting effect.)

(The blood isn't a puff in INS, it's more like a spurting effect.)I know exactly what you are talking about. The sound and splat is perfect.

You could probably use the files somehow for yourself but I'm not sure if that splat is something coded in or not.

I doubt you could release anything public without the mods consent as they are the owners of that content.

I just copied the blood vtfs from INS over to the correct DoD:S folder....it just looks like those blood mods from CS:S

It must be the way it's coded into INS.

It must the way it's coded into INS.Man, that's too bad...That is damn sweet when you get to see someone get shot in the leg.

Have you tried the sounds yet? I haven't had a chance to, but the sound is way better than the sound in DoD:S.

Hmm...I looked in sound/player and I don't see anything but the pain sounds.

Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\Insurgency\sound\weapon s\bullets

That's where the impact sounds are. There is also five ricochet sounds in dod, that I am probably going to replace with 5 cool ones from INS.

Yeah, I tried it too for CSS but it looked weird. They changed blood particles behaviour for INS.
