US Assault Troops

Given that there are many many DOD:S beach maps (I often play strand and am still anticipating DoD_WN71) I was wondering if there are any modelers out there willing to make "assault troops" for the Americans storming the beaches.

This should be relatively simple, as really only 1 or 2 items need to be added to the troops, the 1st being the "assault gas mask bag, M7".

Remember the black bag the soldiers wore on their chests in SPR? Yea, thats the "assault gas mask bag."

The model for it should be pretty easy to make, and my main question is, CAN IT BE DONE?

A few other mods would have to be done to the characters, such as giving them all M1928 packs (the ones that the "Rifleman" and "BAR" classes have)

I'm pretty sure there might be consistency errors or something, but I just want to know if this can be done. It would greatly enhance my playing experience!

ALSO, if the M7 bag can be added, could an assault vest be done as well?

It might cause consistancy issues in servers.

Although, Ivan made Russian models for DoD:S that don't cause consistancy issues...so who knows.

Most people don't seem to do the modeling of players here too much for that reason, which is too bad because Rus Ivan's success with his models was a fairly simple task.

Stay within the original collision/hitboxes.

The assault gas mask SHOULD be within the parameters of the hitboxes, I mean, it would only go out as far as some of the gear already on the models.

I have the Source SDK, and to me it seems feasible. I mean, look at the M1928 pack, it's not in the hitboxes, so why would another gear piece affect the model? It fits within the "movement" box as well.

Because of this, would somebody be willing to model this, or point me in the direction as to how to model it myself?

ALSO- Would it be possible to remove that stupid buttpack that the US models seem to have? It's unrealistic and quite frankly, irritatingly stupid.
