These models are designed for the left-handed (handicapped) DOD players. They're the standard DOD 1.3 weapon models that have been MIRRORED. The file is hosted by fpsbanana and can be Download Here (http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/23404)

Of course, as a result of being mirrored, some models may not be 'technically' correct. For example, the revolver cylinder will rotate CCW, or ammo magazine or bolt action will be on the opposite side of the original model. But they all function the same as the original models.

Models were created using a combination of 3 programs:
Jed's HLMV, MilkShape, and a 7 year old DOS utility named Half-Life Model Flipper.

Cool, I remember something like this done way back when, don't know if it's still kicking now so it's good you revived it here.

I remember Glimsharp doing it awhile back maybe in the beta 1.3b era?

Either way, good job, can't wait to use them.

Hello all :)

I remember re-animating weapon models for left handed views.

The good old days :p

Would I be correct in saying that these ones have been "mirrored" as I notice the magazine/bolt etc are are the wrong side now....

ROFL!

Glimsharp with his annual posting! :D :D :D (and that's not an exaggeration either)

Thought you had left us. Good to see you!
