I always liked how on the 1.3 sprites, the sniper scope bars looked worn away in places:

Can someone do this for the sniper scope sprites in DoD:S please?

Sure, I'll see if I can get it done sometime tonight.

Sorry for a lack of an update, I got sidetracked with some business related issues. I should have it done today.

Hmm, I've hit a slight snag. I've forgotten what settings to save the VTF files at... So this might take a little bit longer then predicted.

Thanks for bailing me out Goobs; I would feel terrible if I couldn't get them done. Looks good.

Yes, there is a small difference in the Axis scope, but I think you are remembering more of a difference than there really is :D Not trying to punk you out man. Just letting you know senility may be around the corner. Allied scope is virtually exactly the same

P.S.
I think the reason they changed it was because the crosshairs in those scopes were NOT painted decals that can be rubbed off - they are physical object inside the scope. They could never appear "scuffed" or faded ;)

Hey, you'll go senile first...you're older. :p

Genie: No sweat man, I was up late and thought I'd lend a helping hand :)

Wile: You and your history stuff :p

Guyver: No problem, just glad to make someones game experience a little better. This may have just started a landslide of work from me ;)

CrossHAIRS...;)

Good work though.
I can't figure out why the sprite isnt just one file but is split in 4 parts which makes it harder to make unfortunately.

When this game came out not all cards would handles a 2048x2048 skin, and a small tiny skin taking up the whole screen would look really crappy

Don't feel bad, the original DOD scope sprites numbered about 9, not 4, if I recall correctly
