Residue, that was the worst thing you could say in reply to a pack from someone else. Your reply was worse than Bot's arguing w/ Whiskas' MP-40.

Shame on you, people do care but they may be busy doing things, they may not be playing right now, they may be doing somthing else, you don't know everything and neither do your friends.

I hope you reconsider your post Residue. Cath0de put lots of effort into this pack, It takes a long deal of time to make something like this, especially when you have to dig thru the forums to find what you need.

Good work puting it together Cath0de. I can't wait to try it out. :)

Anywhere I might could get just that 'Dot crosshair that can be seen on all resolutions' crosshair? I'm sure you've got some top notch work but I really don't want to have to DL 170 ish megs for one crosshair :(

I've spent about 2-3hrs per day since DoD v1.0 came out, digging through nearly EVERY release on this forum and DODEC, and finding the best and most realistic ones.

So shut the **** up, and keep your opinions to yourself. If you don't want to use it, you don't have to.

I think you are drastically underestimating the amount of devotion and time it takes to create such things.


Cath0de is a respected member of this community, and I'm not very pleased with the disrespect you've shown him.



If there were more people to be so quick to judge and be critical, alot of great custom work will never see the light of day. For they would detere from doing their work since "everyone" wouldn't apprieciate it.

Many people will be pleased with this pack. It is very handy to someone who is looking for a change in DOD, myself included.

yea, i cant wait to see it either and it looks really cool and i apreciate that you put all of this together since i have been really trying to get rid of my shouldered weapons they are getting annoying

hehe same here, although as far as realism goes I am not certain as I'm not a WW2 buff. I've only released my pack privately at the moment and have got some nice feedback from it. The reason I made a custom pack similar to this was basically to help those who never customised before. Sure everyone is quite picky about what they like but they can always loot the stuff they DO like out of the pack and bin the rest.

Will have a rummage through yours for sure :).

Heh, that's exactly what I did w/ Kommisar's. I was already using about 50% of the models/skins in it, and some of the stuff was downright ugly (m1 carbine model, Axis skin, mini-map player Icon).

Oh, and to all those who keep comparing mine to Kommisar's, K's pack was ~65mb. Mine is 171mb.
