Hope i'm not being annoying by asking so many questions but i couldn't find a solution to this one. I am trying to make clear water puddles this is how it keeps coming out, i have changed the water texture a number of times but i can't seem to get it to be clear.

Any suggestions on how to make it?

Make your water texture translucent, then add an alpha texture? Are you trying to apply it like a decal? because there is another way of doing so using displacements.

I can't really see what the problem is there as the image is very dark.. Does the water have a reflective surface at all? If not could be aleak in your map. I am having trouble the opposite way in that I need some water to be as murky as possible and it is too clear. Typical.

Use "cheap" water textures.

it could be your computer settings. If you have a low end rig and are running at dx8 or whatever, your water might be forced to run with no refraction, so the water would look solid.

Yea i'm thinking its a hardware issue , i'll have to test it out on another pc.
