The screenshots do not do this map justice. I played this map for about 45 minutes, and it seemed balanced, great FPS all around, and has stunning architecture and everything fits.
Very very nice job. A new favorite of mine already.

Looks like a decent little map, uploading it to my server now. One thing though, there is no RES file for the map. In the future could you include one please? I made one, and added it to the RAR file found in the mirror below.

OMG sweet map. That middle flag makes for some intense fire fights. a very high quality, smooth, fps friendly map. Well done

Yea, I played this map last night for the first time. Very good map, had many many compliments on the server, along with the "I remember this map!" comments. It was slightly confusing because I didn't realize it didn't come with a .res file, so I had no mini map! Fixed that shortly after. Another thing I noticed, we were playing 16v15, and I was talking to someone in spec that said they couldn't join a team. Are there only 31 spawn points? This is a great map, and seemed very popular, but as a 32 man pub, I don't think we would run it very much with only 31 spawn points. Other than that, the map was amazing, ran great, smooth, and wasn't too crowded with 30-31 players.

Dont worry about the res file Bauer.
Its only necessary for the server operators, not clients.
It takes less than a minute to make a res and repackage the files for distribution... no biggy

While we were playing this at lunch today we noticed that on the allies sandbag spawn exit we would get hung up on the top lip of the sandbags and have to jump over it. It doesn't hang up everywhere mostly noticed it to the left side of the exit.
Great job on the map, been having fun on it.

I noticed this too, its the top left hand side as you are running out of spawn. Has any one played this map with more than 30 players yet? We had 31, and I think one was stuck in spectator because they couldn't join a team. I think there are only 31 spawn points. Bauer, any input on this?

JCCI noticed this also Jimmy when playing with you guys yesterday. That's pretty much the only hiccup I found on the map, but I was too busy getting owned by your BAR hacks to notice much of anything else.

OK, If you don't tell anybody else, I'll tell you how I do it. I have an older slower computer and I make sure I play against really poor players. Not you of course, other really poor players.
That map finished yet? What are you doing having fun in the forums.

And while your adding those extra spawn points (make it 17-18 per side) spread them out...if you have to make the spawn areas bigger so people have room. Almost nothing worse in a map then spawning as one huge cluster....well you know. I think one of the few things worse is not facing the spawn points the right direction...I swear if I ever get my hands around some of these mappers necks ;p
The spacing is worse on the allied side but the axis has plenty of room to spread them out.

The fountain was flag 4 in all previous versions
Im still trying to remember the new ally 1 and 2 flag order in rails_b2 and salerno *LOL*

yes there are only 31 player spawns. sry for that. and the stuck bug on allies exit will be removed.
