Compiled maps wont load on completion,

I'm having this problem where I compile a map, the game starts, the server starts, but then after a few seconds, the game disconnects, seemingly without reason. If I start another server with the same map, it works fine! The only errors I see are about missing textures and the missing overview file, but I don't think those are the issue, since it runs otherwise. Any ideas??? The console info is below. Thanks in advance!

Untick the box in the compile map menu that says "play game after compiling map" (Or something similar) and then start DODS up and run the map that way.

I know that already :P But what is the problem? Is it something to do with the way the compiler launches the game?

You may find that still having Hammer running whilst you initiate Steam and DOD puts too much load on your processor and forces the application to crash.

I've experienced the same problem and found that starting the game seperately did the trick.

When you launch the game from the compile tools, it starts hl2.exe in a dev/debug mode, I have never had any luck running it this way. I uncheck the run game after compile and start the game manually.

A way to fix the error of hammer and or hl2 crashing with both running is to set hammer to run in dx level 81, do this in the launch options of the sdk.(-dxlevel 81)
