Can't wait to try it, B@D. Variations on the classics are good, even if it's just atmospheric.
Please tell me that a winter version of Flash is somewhere in your future. :)

Looks quite good, will be interesting to see how it will play in the darkness.

Looks neat! Although I admittedly tend to favour a higher ambient light on night maps (like colmar) I do like what you did here.

Sounds very good this map - was waiting already :D
Here you have a MIRROR (http://www.woodquarter.org/dload.php?action=file&file_id=30) (no registration needed!)
Thanks again for the Mirrors and all the comments Im sure most of you will love it .
99% of the people that come in my server are amazed by the look and love the dark rooms while streets are well lit I used the fire to light up some areas that I did not want to put lights in . again all feedback is welcome to Improve it .

I really liked it.
I loved the pitch black indoor environment.
One thing I'd recommend is make the outdoor darker. You seem to have set the map in a full moon night but I think it'd be more interesting to have it darker outside....just my 2 cents :D

Avalanche@night (http://www.sunlitgames.net/index.php?module=ExDownloads&func=details&fid=446&cid=2) looks good and most importantly, players stayed and voted extend. That's a statment to the ambience of the map overcoming the usual complaints of dark interiors. Good job B@D

Loved the map, played better that I thought - I do love night/dusk maps though. Couple of comments, would it be possible to lower the light from a couple of the street lights a little and boost in the really dark places? Perhaps a couple of little fires in all those lovely fireplaces perhaps?
Did spot this by the "cafe" in axis spawn area tho...
hope it works...
MyopicHedgehog I did plan on adjusting light in many areas and there are a few more areas like the one you spotted in the map with that black texture that I still have to figure out why its doing that It looks fine in hammer :o I do appreciate all the comments thanks again
Also I spotted some other servers running this map last night that removed the b2 from the end  what jerks ! I can assure you all that is not the final he is running why do people do that shizitt ?
keep the feedback coming !:D

hey cool !
You have any original maps in the works?
Not at the moment Im tring to finish my Aachen map next its gettin close . :D
I played it in a fairly full server last night. Great fun. Really, this seems to equalize a lot of balance issues on this map, I think. For whatever reason, it was much easier for the allies to cap out than I've seen in years of DoD history on Ava. I suspect we had sneaky ninja guys raiding the axis apartments. The sounds of slashing and punching in those buildings was almost non-stop. Smoking the plaza seemed to be much more effective against snipers and mg's.
I think that although yes, most players love brightly lit maps so they have to be catered to, there is a good-sized portion of the community that loves darker, gloomier maps where you can actually sneak around. Rreally enjoyed this. Would love to see alternate daym/night time or winter versions of most of the official maps. Anzio would make a great night time or evening map. Keep up the good work.

Anzio would make a great great nighttime map. You got this one B@D, or should I start working on it? :p
There is also a winter version of flash floating out there somewhere. I got it playing on a server, so I assume it's public.
I will continue to make @night maps out of the stock versions but I must finish up my own map first !
Anzio ,Argentan ,kalt are all on my list to do ....:D

Really Nice Job!, Love the dark interiors - very sneaky gameplay!
In terms of fixes for _b3, I would check out the maps church tower though, a few gaps in the structure to be fixed which must be slowing down your compile times.
