A little reskin I did of Day of Defeat: Source's poor old Tiger I tank. Basically a new metal texture with some little details.

Can you post an HLMV shot? The lighting in those pics makes it kind of hard to see the detail in the textures.

It's nice, but the metal doesn't look right.

All the documentries and pictures I've seen, tiger tanks have grooves in the armor plating.

Ahh, you mean Zimmerite (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zimmerit)

Yeah, CoD2 added that with a normal map, and maybe if I make a V2 I'll do it with some patterns I make or something.

The new texture you've made looks too dark. It hides the detail which you should be able to visibly see.
Perhaps think about where the most mud/grime/dirt would be on the real tank.
I think that around the tank tracks it would be quite obvious, perhaps some black around the end of of the barrel which would give the impression of heavy use. Also where the occupants get in and out, there would be dirt from clothes or muddy hand prints somewhere. Maybe some scratches or something. I'm just throwing idea's of what i would play around with.

Don't take my comments to harshly, I'm just attempting to offer some constructive criticism. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I actually laid down a new base for one that I'll be doing real soon. It's much light and looks more to the original. The filesize is huge, though, because I doubled the texture size before doing it. I'm also experimenting with normals and stuff, so I'll probably release the V2 later.

Alright, here's a HLMV shot of the new one I'm working on. Any suggestions besides the basics junkers said? Remember, it's on 4096 maps, but I may release two versions, one stock map sizes and one at 4096.
