Hi Pan,
I made one for the ESK clan last year.
You can check it out on my forums on albatros44.de; I'm afraid I lost the most up-to-date vmf in a HDD crash in January, but I found an old file I can work with again.
I'll release it soon in a "neutral" fashion (additional to the one the ESK guys have been waiting for for months now :( ).
Cheers,
Albatros
That's the sort of awesome gear I'm talking about.
Any others, anyone else? :D

I've been working on this for about a week now. It's my first map. Done in Q3 Defrag style map where 1st station is the easiest going left to right to the hardest/near impossible. When grenades damage the target trigger a nice shot audio is played and lightning bolt comes down. It's easy to tell if you've scored a hit. Mezzazine deck for watching others. Ammo crates for replenishing grenades only.
Created by and specifically for the Legendary Gamers clan.
Looks nice so far..
Now I know there's PLENTY more of these types of maps about..
Anyone else care to share?

The Rangers have a bunch of guys building maps for us. We have a pretty good training map, with moving targets, a rifle grenade range, an obstacle course, and a running track.

Are these guys recruited into your clan?
Otherwise, how did you manage to find someone to make maps for you?
Also, is there a download link somewhere for that map?

Well in our case we had some guys take the initiative and started learning on their own. They were and continue to be regular clan members while mapping on the side. Of course you'll get some guys that already know how to map prior to joining a clan. You'll also see clans go out and try to recruit mappers. It's a rarity that clans actually offer to pay for customized maps.
Myself for example just started mapping a couple weeks ago. You can see the fruits of my labor in the screen shot above. Mapping isn't that difficult once you learn the basics. As you can see, only took me about a week to become comfortable with the tools.
Of course if I had the time I'd make all the maps I needed.
Unfortunately tempus fugit.

How did you make the ammo crate for repentishing grenades? I've been working on trying to get grenades to show up for hours and no luck. How did you manage to do it?
Also, does anyone know if there's an entity for the boxes of spare ammo that you can give other players? I'm trying to build my own training map where you can repentish your ammo / grenades.
Thanks ;)

Yes they are recruited in, and taught how to do hammer if they want. Usually they already know, but otherwise we have some guys who are really good with hammer. They usually just catch on.
and No. There is no download link. Its an internal Unit map.
