This is my first time posting here with my very first map as well =) So, take it easy on me lol
Here's a little twist on the fight map genre. It was a good learning experience and I hope to move on to bigger and better maps. Please try it out and let me know what you think. :)

Again, I would appreciate any constructive critisism =)
It has some respawning breakable glass and some custom models and textures. The purple is to match our website www.theville.org

OK I know my map isnt the greatest... but not even one reply! cmon guys, help me out here
Err.. Give it a bit of time.
We'll try it out, I'll post back some feed.
I suggest naming it dod_purple_villefight_b2 - Just so people know it's a texture map, for starters.

There is a select few people around here that have the "just gotta have dev texture map."
You might get a bigger response from the steam forums. Not to sound harsh, but it's true.

I know, the dev maps are a dime a dozen. I guess it is a far stretch to expect people to wanna check out... another dev map
Anyway, we have fun on it, thought Id share it...
I'll try the steam forums, thanks :)
Don't worry about anyone here, they're all anti-dev map >:]
This one's up on our server. Thanks.

Sweet! =)
Let me know if you get a good respose
It seems fine when people play it, it has the same instant appeal as other dev maps, and keeps up with the deathmatchy fun style of gameplay.
One question.. wtf is up with the squire in the middle? LOL
ps. The response wasn't negative, and people played it without F10'ing. It's pretty safe to assume that equates to a 'good response'.
And I strongly suggest you rename it: dod_purple_villefight_b2

LOL! I knew that was coming...
The guy who started our community used the handle Robert E Lee (Back when TFC was popular!) That model is to honor him  Its supposed to be a model of the general himself.
I'm gonna rename it dod_purple_villefight
I didnt think about that, thanks for pointing that out.
Thanks a million... to everyone here - I like the no BS/no spam attitude... and the fact that you dont show peoples post counts.
and Pan, I owe ya one buddy

I had changed ours to dod_purple_villefight_b2, but I can remove the 'b2' if that's how you wish your map to be presented.
If I find anything further with it that might need to be discussed, I will post again.
Also, if you find the response to 'dev' maps here isn't what you're after, we'd be glad to beta test any maps you wish to release in future on our Australian server (dev OR WWII themed). You can directly post on our site (terrafirmaclan.com) if you'd like; we have clan and public members in the server almost all of the time, and we'd be able to supply useful feedback.
We're always up for adding new maps to the rotation.
