Funny, after constantly skinning for awhile, your eyes gloss over and you make really simple, yet obvious mistakes. I was just skimming though screenshots of stuff I thought was complete - whoops gotta open this one back up and fix it.

Can you spot the dumb mistake?

No Guyver, you cannot play. :D

I must be losing it, because I don't see it.

That's not it...there is a crosshair. Look by the lamp post.

The barrel is still default?

02-16-2007, 04:46 PM
It's the wall decal/texture, inside that alley?

02-16-2007, 04:57 PM
The barrel is still default? That's not the default 30 cal v model (well it is, but the model has been edited.)

02-16-2007, 05:16 PM
I just meant still had the default skin.

I couldn't tell you what the default model looked like tbh, I have not used it since source came out and I was checking every weapon out, so it's been a while:)

okay here is a hint: it's on the 30 cal and it's NOT the model itself, but the skin.

02-16-2007, 05:42 PM
The skin on the barrel is still default. ...or is that what Warlord meant?

02-16-2007, 06:01 PM
You lost me.....I give up!
There is nothing wrong with this picture ;)

02-16-2007, 06:19 PM
Is it the arguably strange lighting on the left side of the rear sight?

The skin on the barrel is still default. ...or is that what Warlord meant?

lol, yeah, that is what I meant in my 1st post, and my second.

It should have read - the barrel skin is still default - but I thought people would get what I meant anyways.;)

getting late in the evening. so I'll drop a big hint.

Look at the bullets. And yes, I am that anal about details.

Metal links rather then cloth, or the primers have already been hit by the FP?

02-16-2007, 07:33 PM
The primers have already been struck. I would have never noticed that if you hadn't pointed it out!

edit: Hawk beat me to it

the primers have already been hit That would be it. I felt pretty dumb when I noticed it too. That's what I get for rushing through things :)

02-16-2007, 09:15 PM
Wow...I would've never noticed that. You do look at every little detail. :D

(I'm chomping at the bit for things to test.)

You do look at every little detail.well, not so much really, as I just notice it. For 20 years I've been messing around with machine guns and rifles and small arms in real life - so if something looks "off" in a game, it just really stands out to me
