Thanks for the comments, has anyone had a chance to test it out yet?

Yep,

We palyed it last night on our server. The first round the axis defended the submarine very well and won that round. However, the second round we were able to take the sub out early and towards the end of the time left we blew up the final objective and were victorious over the German defenses.

We had a great time and the map runs very well. I know this is the final version and I don't even know if it's possible but when the det pack goes off on the submarine it sure would have been cool to see the sub sink.

Nice job on the final version.

We tried it out on a nearly full server last night.

Very enjoyable, the streamlining you did really served the map well. Looking forward to more plays of this one.

Was seemingly impossible for Allies the first couple of goes, but they started dominating when they focused on the sub.

I realize this is the final, but is there any thought of releasing a version with Jed's sub model? (or was that his sub...I was too breathless running from the wehrmacht to get a close look :p )

This has been added to our perm. rotation.

Thanks :)

Enjoyed the new changes. We used to play the earlier versions of this map for aaaaaages. Great work on the final release.

Noodle...

I do love Jed's model to bits, and whilst it is an excellent replication, I didn't feel it was fitting enough to the map...mainly the layout, the U-Boat just needed that crate of guns and the center in the position it is for hiding behind....I think it would have been too hard to capture otherwise, there was also the issue I've come across on some computers where you jump onto a physics model and you simply slide off...I didn't want to risk having that bug in the final release of my map.

I'm glad you all like it, I've jumped into the occasional server and the feedback has always been negative for the first couple of rounds, but once people have adapted to the routes and the "get the U-Boat first" strategy, it makes for really enjoyable gaming.

I'm thinking about bring the older version of the map (the larger one) up to date too, for 32 player servers and expanding it a bit.

I'd love to see this in a clan match!
