how do i get to work

Start off by putting studiomdl into the smae folder as the .qc you wanna compile into a model.
Then open up the MS DOS command prompt.
On Windows XP you can find it start > Accessories > command prompt

This will open an MS DOS window.

Type CD and then the location of your .qc file

e.g. it could be summat like

C:/dod stuff/new gun

so you would type

cd C:/dod stuff/new gun

The command prompt should now change to the location you typed in.

Now all you have to do is type studiomdl.exe and the name of your .qc

so it could look summat like this:

studiomdl.exe V_tommy then jus press enter

Your .qc should now compile into a model. If your doing a player model this may take some time, so be patient.

nah it it work yet it say i can not read skin bmp

Make sure all your skins are named correctly to those in the .qc file and that they are all 256 colour.

speaking of MS problems; mine doesnt work. Ive tried uninstalling it, deleting it from the registry and deleting everything related to MS. yet when i reinstall it it still tells me that its expired

me too.

Once the trial period is up you have to jus bite the bullet and buy it. Belive me, i tried for ages to fool it into giving me another 30 days trial but it mus hide some of registery files n your HD or summat lol

my friend bought it and let me use his key... and it still dont work, i did this before it expired
