The main reworkings for this release have focused on getting the axis into the game more effectively. The fall from the sniper deck now leads onto a long low roof (causing no damage), suitable as a defensive position covering the lane/flag, and acting as a gentle step down to the lane. It's now much less of a choke point than the previous exit, and the 1st flag can be reached in about the same time as the allied take to reach theirs. There's also a new entrance/stairs that lead up to the back of the piano room, which should help in dispersing newly spawned axis troops.
Rebuilding the route to the axis 2nd to go through the building, rather that around the side/back of it, has made the route slightly shorter, and the area more interesting. It also helped get rid of some very dodgy visblocking.:rolleyes:

This still isn't a release canditate, as I've notived the odd bit of 'disappearing rooftop' stuff going on, and I'd like to get that sorted. I've also become a little concerned about the open space and long lines of sight over the bombed out building next to the allied 1st. A replacement building with an intact roof could be just the job for improving fps in most of the surrounding area. It looks like it could be quite a time comsuming task, so I'll leave it for b4.

For the moment though, this should be a better balanced version than b2. Here's some pics of the reworked areas, and a download link;

Initially the file size discouraged me from loading this to our server, but this is more acceptable, and the fact that it's bspzipped is great. Running on JFG.

the bottom picture is perfect. stock maps should look like that with debris all over the street and run down buildings all over.

beautiful map with neat routes. Great for medium to large servers without getting crowded. damn good fps given the detail of all the structures in the map.

awesome work.
