this has been sitting around on my drive for a very, very long time. Just recently started up on it again. It's not finished, but even when it is this is actually not a full reskin - a lot of what you see is actually the default skin. I just made it look different :) The big things for me were getting the rear receiver correct, which was a bit hard due to the fact that many details were simply not modeled in.

I think I've actually got a pretty good handle on that now between the bumpmapping and shaders. The illusion is pretty darn good. Most of the work left is on the skin itself. Posting this because after an screenshot slip-up I've had people asking about it.

Neat. Phong shader seems a little bright, but otherwise it looks great.

Looks ok, not a big fan of the light brown colour, I like solid brown like on Brutals' k98

edit: How realistic is this rifle

Very sexy indeed, reminds me of RO, which I also cannot get enough of.

I know for fact that bringing up the IS is awesome in-game. The details are what makes this so great. Can't wait for the final release. Wile, are you going to include a k98_rg_grenade skin as well..like you did with the Garand V2?

I hope so.

Looks great, like usual, but a little too shiny for my liking.

actually, (lol) that shininess is really noticable because I was purposely aiming at bright light sources. It is a lot less noticable in-game.

That said, don't worry. It's changing. that was just a placehokder/temp alpha channel making it that shiny.

We're getting there, if you know what I mean ;)
